On a crisp autumn day in Mocksville, North Carolina, Courtney Hudson and Zach Flippin tied the knot in a celebration of love, laughter, and nature's beauty. Their wedding, held on October 19, 2024, at the stunning Triple J Manor House, was a perfect blend of rustic charm and elegant florals.

The Floral Vision

Courtney had a clear vision for her wedding flowers: rich, warm hues that would complement the autumn season, paired with soft, romantic accents. Our goal was to create florals that captured her personality and the love she shares with Zach.

The Bouquet Breakdown

Courtney's bridal bouquet was a true showstopper, featuring a beautiful selection of blooms:

  • Burgundy Mini Carnations

  • Novia Peach Carnations

  • Burgundy Dahlias

  • Apricot Lisianthus

  • Black Baccara Dark Red Roses

  • Poma Rosa Light Pink Roses

  • Phoenix Peach Roses

  • Fascination Peach Roses

  • Peach Spray Roses

  • Pink Dahlias

  • Light Pink Carnations

  • Majolika Light Pink Spray Roses

The bouquet featured deep burgundy tones to symbolize passion, paired with soft pinks and peaches to convey romance and warmth. Each bloom was hand-selected for its color, texture, and meaning, creating a lush, overflowing arrangement that perfectly suited the bride's radiant smile.

The Bridesmaid Bouquets

To complement Courtney’s bouquet, her bridesmaids carried smaller versions featuring similar blooms. These bouquets provided a cohesive look while allowing the bride’s arrangement to take center stage.

The Groom and Groomsmen

Zach and his groomsmen sported unique pocket squares made from florals instead of traditional boutonnieres. The pocket squares were made with dahlias, spray roses, celosia, carnations, stock, zinnias, and seeded eucalyptus, tying into the overall wedding color palette.

The Arbor

The couple exchanged vows under a breathtaking floral arbor. We adorned the structure with cascading arrangements of dahlias, roses, and celosia, creating a natural frame for the couple’s heartfelt ceremony. The arbor stood as a symbol of growth, strength, and the new chapter they were beginning together.

The Welcome Sign

Guests were greeted with a beautifully decorated welcome sign, accented with a floral arrangement of roses, carnations, and eucalyptus in Courtney’s chosen colors. This small detail set the tone for the entire event, making guests feel warmly welcomed from the moment they arrived.

A Personal Connection

Working on this wedding was especially meaningful to me, as Courtney and I share a connection through our alma mater, Appalachian State University. It was a joy to be part of a celebration that took place in a venue as beautiful as Triple J Manor House.

The Final Touches

Every wedding we craft at Blossom & Bloom Floristry is unique, and Courtney and Zach’s wedding was no exception. From the bouquets to the arbor, every floral detail was carefully considered to create a cohesive, beautiful atmosphere that reflected their love story.

As Courtney and Zach embark on their journey together, we wish them a lifetime of love, happiness, and adventure. Thank you for allowing us to be part of your special day – it was truly an honor to bring your floral dreams to life.
